One of my greatest interests is collecting autographed photos of my favourite musical stars. I feel privileged that most of my personal letters sent to famous musical stars were replied by them. Believe it or not, some wrote to me while they were still alive. Lena Horne, Kathryn Grayson, Ann Miller to name a few. Take a look at the photos and see if you can recognise any one of them...
yip, this blog is beginning to remind me of my late dad, who once performed in chinese operas. he would volunteer most of his free time for rehearsals and even had to pay for the elaborate costumes to help raise funds for building chinese-medium schools. he and a married lady friend used to reverse roles, with him playing the leading lady and she the strapping hero. *w* he also had to teach junior actresses how to walk and gesture the proper way. *lol*
